Installation & Setup

How do I install Butterfly?

1. Download the Butterfly launcher from our website
2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder of your choice
3. Run Butterfly_Launcher.exe as Administrator
4. Log in with your credentials
5. Select your game and configure your settings
6. Launch the game through the launcher

Why do I need to run as Administrator?

Administrator privileges are required for the injection process to work properly. The software needs these permissions to interact with game processes at a system level. We guarantee that our software contains no malware or unwanted programs.

The launcher won't start. What should I do?

If the launcher fails to start, try these steps:
1. Make sure you have .NET Framework 4.8 or later installed
2. Add exceptions for Butterfly in your antivirus software
3. Ensure you have the latest Windows updates installed
4. Try running the compatibility troubleshooter

Usage & Features

How do I open the menu in-game?

The default hotkey to open the menu is INSERT for CS2 and F11 for Dota 2. You can change this key in the launcher settings before launching the game.

Can I get banned for using Butterfly?

While we implement advanced anti-detection measures, there is always some risk when using any third-party software. We regularly update our software to stay ahead of detection methods. For the lowest risk, we recommend using features subtly and not making it obvious you're using enhancements.

How often is Butterfly updated?

We typically release updates every 1-2 weeks. Major game updates (like CS2 or Dota 2 patches) usually prompt an update within 24-48 hours. Premium users receive update notifications directly in the launcher.

If you believe you've been detected:

2. Contact support with details about your situation
3. Wait for our team to investigate and release an update
4. Consider using a different account when the issue is resolved
